Flavor Packs

Alex,

As a disclaimer, I have to say your site is the absolute top for dollar and quality and probably always will be because you obviously care about the customer and not filling your bank account. One thing I have noticed from your competitor, if you want to call them that ( You know who I am talking about) is the fact that they sell flavor packs for their proteins so you can flavor your own. I know you can get it flavored in the lab anyways but this seems like a good idea. Hell I have some older powders that haven't expired as well as some soy isolate I picked up for cheap at my grocery store that is in dire need of some flavor. They also offer a natural line which is sweetened with Stevia, which is my sweetener of choice because it is the healthiest. Have you ever considered selling these on your site? What does anyone else think?

You can choose Stevia as a sweetner in the lab...I do, but I am weening myself off artificial sweetners but when I do use a sweetner this is the one I go with

Selling flavoring from manufacturers is highly against FDA regulations, might even be illegal. Flavorings are to be blended into finished products, NOT sold separately. When you buy bulk flavoring from manufacturers it boldly says, "FOR FINISHED PRODUCT ONLY, NOT FOR RETAIL SALE!" Selling cocoa of course is NOT what I am talking about. But selling straight up vanilla flavoring (dry), and many other flavorings is against FDA regulations.

We are one of the few supplement company's/manufacturers that are inspected by the FDA. Our clones (or proteinfactory wanna'be's) most likely are NOT inspected by the FDA. If they were they would not be allowed to sell flavoring.

Take for example a flavoring with Yellow #5. Some people are deadly allergic to this material. You cannot risk the chance of a consumer incorrectly mixing and drinking this product. do they have a disclaimer on the powder warning that "THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS YELLOW # 5)? I highly doubt it.

Secondly Liability insurance. My company carries a mult-million dollar product liability package. If someone gets sick from using my powders and sue me, im covered. (Never happened just so you know). If I sold BULK flavoring illegally I would NOT be covered for this. If someone get sick from a "FLAVOR PACK" gets what happens? The guy that gets sick sues me, I go personally bankrupt, and out of business. Once again my clones of proteinfactory.com that sell bulk flavoring I highly doubt let their insurance company (If they even DID carry product liability insurance) know they are selling BULK flavorings, if they did they would be dropped like a "hot rock"

I wont risk the chance of someone dying just so I can make a quick buck selling flavoring. My thoughts is if you want flavoring use the grocery store or somewhere else. But I make my profits on quality powders, not anything I can pawn off onto my customers. (ie waxy maize, L-arginine supplement, prohormones, and flavor packs).

I checked out that "clone site" that sells flavor packs...they sell creatine ethyl ester and waxy maize also...two big no no's in my book.

your thoughts on CEE? I know about waxy daze, but according to so many idiots, oops, people, CEE is the newest and latest craze-

Anything but creapure is made in China. Not only that but I would guarantee that most creatine besides creapure are either just creatine monohydrate or creatinine.

i tried, tasted like, well didnt taste good! didnt stick with it to find out if it helped or not simply because of the taste. Id chew on a scoop of Pepto before I use the CEE again!

Well, I understand the idea behind CEE...many people think that esterfication makes a substance more readily available for uptake...

I don't understand the science behind it, but I do understand the reaction between the acid and creatine to create the molecule and most likely if it does not react one hundred percent you are likely to be buying a substance that is a blend of creatine, CEE, and HCL (the reagent)...that is most likely why it tastes so bad.

Personally, I can't see how it would be any better than regular old creatine monohydrate...all this nonsense about Creatine gluconate, Kre-alkalyn, creatine malate, etc is just that in my book, nonsense.

Stick with the pure creatine mono made by creapure...that is the molecule you are going to get from red meat, the same molecule that your body naturally synthesizes/metabolizes to make atp...

Anything else in my book is just a waste of money and marketing hocus pocus
