Problems placing banner links

Hey guys and gals,
Posting banners is next to impossible on myspace. However, there is a way to post just links. What I did to make it easier on me was I posted links to my facebook page and yahoo blog in myspace. Then I just tell people to check those out and then they can see the links. On facebook you can post it on your wall with the cool little button called "share a link". You can also post a link on your profile blurb under your photo.
In myspace if you go to "my comments" you can post a link in there that will work but the banner won't show. When someone clicks on it they will be prompted by a page that says " your about to leave myspace.com" its just a warning page. Your link actuall shows up in the middle and is still usable. I've also included it into e-mail's to people, friends, that i talk to through myspace and facebook. You can do it when you e-mail through them as well.
Trial and error on my part and I'm still working out other ways.
