That sucks, sorry to hear it. It helps but I don't
think it's quite the miracle cure those who engage in it would like
to believe. I think you're doing the right thing -- chiro and
massage. As for the B12 shots, well, they can't hurt but this is
the deal with B12. For one thing, the B vitamins in nature are
always in the complex and that's the way they're best absorbed.
Vitamins are absorbed very efficiently though eating as long as
there's food in your stomach. Taking an injection will get more of
the vitamin directly into the bloodstream but realize that DX7 has
over 700% of the RDA and there's no way you can possibly absorb that
much. In other words, it's more than you can possible need. Also, B
vitamins are water soluble so whether it's eaten or injected, it'll
be peed out within a couple of days. As to the benefits to healing
an L5 , I'm not so sure but it may help. I think vitamin C,
magnesium and aspirin might actually be more helpful. But again,
extra B12 can't hurt.
