Thanks for sharing I.C.P. I starting lifting back in high school for the same reason I lift today. To look better and feel better about myself. Ah... the sand filled weight days. I remember those days as well. I guess I am pretty shallow so trying to look as good as possible makes me feel better so I turned to weights to make it happen (also want to always look good for the ladies). In high school we had a very small gym at school. Bench press was the main piece with the chip up bar being my second favorite. When I hit college I kept doing bench 5 days a week until I figured out that probably wasn't the best way. Never smoked cigarettes or "buds" but did my share of drinking. Never liked heavy metal and spent my years on the honor role and playing sports.
Remember I went to Canada and I am sure U.S. schools had much better gyms than mine in high school. Gym as a credit.... man I would have been all over that.
