the lean whey and whey light is the same protein but the whey light comes in a canister, flavored, and with a scoop. if you want to save a little money you can get the lean whey and select a flavor and sweetener if you wish.
Reducing fat is a matter of bringing down the calories. I would use the protein only lean whey or whey light. This will keep your calories down. You might even want to consider the hydrodipeptides. I recommend this to people to stay anti-catabolic while at the same time keeping the calories low.
