Yes. essentially its a high GI carb maltodextrin and dextroe with hydrolyzed whey and a "secret" amino acid blend.
For postworkout (if you are trying to gain muscle and/or stay out of a catabolic state) you want fast digesting carbs and fast digesting protein. maltodextrin or dextrose is the fastest and hydrolyzed protein likewise. (of course you want to know the MW average of the hydrolyzed protein to judge the quality),,but the surge is good for that. We sell the post training, the recovery, and the sonic for post workout.
The only reason you wouldnt use surge if you are an endomorph or trying to lose bodyfat. 95% of the women I see in the gym working out need to GAIN muscle. Their lives would be 1000% easier if they would increase their muscle mass. They would looked more "toned" (I hate that word). More muscle=faster metabolism. Women are obessed with body fat. If they would obess about muscle then they would look alot better.
If you are hitting the free weights HARD and intense. (squats, barbells and dumbell) use the surge. If you are on the machines and doing cardio dont use the surge. Instead use a low GI carb like oatmuscle or rice olgidextrin and a hydrolyzed protein.
