I haven't used it yet. That will be my next purchase. Adding Bovine serum would up the quality, it is a similar theory of use by upping growth factors.

I know a reasonable amount of latin, but please correct me if I am wrong.. but serum can be many things that are not whey. If you see Bovine serum, that technically doesn't mean cow's milk protein (whey), but part of the cow's blood.

Yes, you are correct, according to Answers.com(http://www.answers.com/topic/serum) there are 4 defenitions of the word 'serum'

1. The clear yellowish fluid obtained upon separating whole blood into its solid and liquid components after it has been allowed to clot. Also called blood serum.
2. Blood serum from the tissues of immunized animals, containing antibodies and used to transfer immunity to another individual.
3.Watery fluid from animal tissue, such as that found in edema.
4. Whey.


That is why I am a bit confused as to what exactly the "serum" they use is. From what I understood when I read it, i was under the impression that it is in fact the blood-derived type of serum, but I wasn't sure. Thank you for the input, and I hope there are some other people here that might also be able to shed some light on this topic. Possibly Alex, if he see's this thread.
