Supply Side East

My favorite show of the year is coming up. Supply side east. It is a show for manufacturers to see the latest and greatest products and ingredients for the supplement industry. I will give a full report. the show is the last week in April.

If anyone wants me to check anything out please list it here and i'll keep you in mind.

I'll specifically be looking for products NOT from China. A customer before posted to look for energy supplements not from China, which is a great idea. Cha de bugre I believe is from Brazil but that reallly doesnt mean too much as brazils quality control I dont think would be as good as china.

I will be looking at new flavorings, packaging, labeling and equipment.

Oh I want to hear about this, sounds like a great show.... Kid in candy shop is the situation it sounds like.

Oh yea, its lots of fun. One cool product is Coconut water powder. It would make a great recovery carb product. Filled with minerals and stuff.

Yeah I heard a few things about that, theres a company in NJ that markets flavored ones for yoga and other sports.

Just to throw my two cents into it, I was meaning to start a thread here on the PF forums about coconut water a month or so ago, but forgot to. It is a great drink to use post-workout, and addes some great flavor to your powder. I used straight unflavored bio-fresh whey, and mixed with coconut water, and it was outstanding. It is extremely high in potassium, and great for replenishing electrolytes.
It sounds really interesting to hear of a powdered form of it, that you saw. that would be awesome if you got something like that for PF!
