I was using this product for over a year with good results and it has made me a true believer in whey isolate protein. I noticed on my last container that they now have a warning to not use this product if you have high blood pressure. I have high blood pressure so regrettably I stopped taking the product. I asked the company what ingredient is in there product that caused them to apply this warning, there response was ARGININE AKG could lower blood pressure which makes no sense. They have forwarded my question to there consultant and hopefully I'll get a better answer. I have never seen a protein blend with a blood pressure warning any idea what ingredient might be the suspect here? I just found this website and I'll be ordering a custom blend protein soon. I love the idea of being able to design your own blend of protein.

Yeah, arginine is supposedly good for blood pressure but I doubt it
would have much of an effect if you're clinically high. Since that's
the case with you there's no connection anyway. Are you taking any
stims? Does high BP run in your family? It tend to be genetic.
Exercise lowers it but high intensity heavy/low rep training can
raise it (temporarily). And of course stress. BP also fluctuates.
I go for regular blood tests and sometimes I'm borderline high and
other times I'm borderline low. It could have been a bad reading.
In the meantime, hawthorn, garlic, CoQ10 and magnesium are all
good.

Is this a product jacked up with arganine for for the No2 'pump' effect? If so, forget that stuff and just get yourself some regular high grade whey isolate like PF offers. Those No2 products have no effect whatsoever on muscle building anyway.

BP problems run in my family. My dad, half sister and myself all have high blood pressure. I tried the natural supplements but only proper meds finally worked. The protein does have NOS products.
I have learned much since I discovered this website. Thank you all for the suggestions and comments.
