Feedback From Pepto-Pro

Anybody at all???

I personally use PeptoPro around my workouts. I take 3 tablespoons and vary my delivery method. Sometimes I stick it in Gatorade. Sometimes lemonade. Sometimes I just use the Tetra Pump. You cant drink PeptoPro just plain flavored in water. I think its way to bitter. Alot of times I will combine the PeptoPro with creapure and BCAA's. Its very easy to drink because it completely dissolves in liquid, and the consistency is like water.

The lemon lime flavored pepto pro with the sweetener can be taken by itself.

But other than that, you'll want to mix the pepto as it is a bitter casein.

I don't understand why you wouldn't just use Hydrolyzed Caseinate 1300. Its half the cost.

Is it because its only 50% pre-digested and pepto is 100% ??

The molecular weight of the Peptopro is only about 250-300 MW, while the hydro caseinate is around 1300 ... the caseinate is also worse tasting, albeit neither would be mistaken for a good tasting protein.

I have never used the hydro casein before ... I have used Peptopro and liked it a lot. If cost is an issue, consider the hydro 520 (if lactose isn't a problem) or the hydro 1400 (if you're lactose-intolerant).

I would save up and buy the pepto pro...a little goes a long way, you only need between 10-20gms a serving at most. One thing I did too is got a custom blend with pepto, 520, hydrolyzed ion exchange whey isolate. It is obviously cheaper by the pound and I mix thirty grams with two scoops vitargo and it is wierd...you can smell the bitter caseins as you drink them but there is no detectable taste when using the vitargo.

Maybe my senses are all messed up....

3 tablespoons is how many grams? I use 25 grams, 5 teaspoons, after my workouts.
