On there website it states Betaine is derived from sugar beet molasses which is essentialy sugar. Are there other ingredients in this product?

It is essentially extracted from beet. Just like whey protein is "extracted" from milk. (described in layman's terms)

I wonder how the Chinese would extract/manufacture this?
