Yes Corleone1213 that is sad. Not because you are obssessed as I have no problem admitting that about myself. It is sad because it does not say much about a social life which usually requires access to money.

Lol, yeah well I have no social life first of all. Being in training for this contest means I don't really hang out with people anyway because they get mad when I just sit there while they eat. I have plenty of money around but it's just cash. I went out and got some Healthy N Fit protein because that stuff is pretty high quality with no crap fillers and uses Stevia as sweetener.

Need protein to get my by till new card gets sent to me... sucks

I never use my debit card outside of money withdrawal. I put EVERYTHING on the credit card and no I have never paid interest in my life. I just would prefer to get credit card points. I have a bunch of protein at my place so I never worry about running out anyways.

What contest are you training for? On a regular basis I am still super strict when it comes to diet and I find I can always find something healthy and enjoyable so I never feel like I am sacrificing. Even though I am sure it is not as healthy as I would like but I stick to the basics. (no fried foods and whole grains)

But, I must say I have been drinking a lot more since I moved to NYC as that is the scene. I sacrifice by doing cardio. I fair exchange I think....

What part of New Jersey do you hang your hat? I lived in Southampton for 2 years (beside Medford) and worked in Princeton. Actually golfing in Princeton with a friend tomorrow.

I never really enjoyed living in New Jersey but I found most people that are born in NJ never want to leave. I chalk it up to the ignorance is bliss analysis.

I have a OCB pro qualifier bodybuilding contest. I live in Northern Bergen county, so right in the nook between NYC and new york state. I'm grew up here but just moved back in the last year from Texas. I love it there, here I"m not so keen on but needed to come back for certain reasons.

Just trying to make the best of it being back, and you are right... people go out here like it's their job. I personally don't go out anymore in fact my friends don't even bother asking me most of the time. I just can't because I can't drink or eat out wit them and I need my sleep, so it's easier just to stay in most of the time.

I hear ya.I lost a lot of so called ''friends'' when i started lifting.Lifting keeps me busy just figuring out what iam gonna do next and all.But i wouldnt have it any other way.I'll lift til the day i die.

Well, good luck in your OCB pro qualifier bodybuilding contest. I think for me I decided that I was staying too strict for my own good. I am not competing and only do it for general health but mainly vanity.

IF you are happy with your social life then that's great. For me I want to go out more and I eat out more than I ever did before (still make healthly choice as I am go not sacrifice with food) and drink more. But for me this is the balance I need to be happy. I just had to get back into doing cardio. I don't drink a lot and rarely get drunk (except last Friday haha) but am much more of a social drinker than I ever was.

I am too much of a social butterfly to sacrifice. I enjoy going out and socializing.

Sorry you had to go back to NJ as you said you like Texas. At least you had a chance to experience life outside of NJ.... but you no longer can say ignorance is bliss.

Thanks man, it's all about maintaining what I can right now and just vaccum sealing my skin to my muscle lol. You know I am completely happy with how I have my lifestyle set up at the moment. I really have no desire to go out and drink or eat out all the time like I used to and my friends want to do.

Good luck to you, re integrating with society lol. I am a social butterfly as well, just don't have the need to do what my "friends" feel is what life is.
