This is an article about how all the NO supplements on the market have no research behind them even though they all claim to raise nitrate levels in the blood.

i recommend gplc for anyone who is interested in any no2 products, try gplc you wont be disappointed.

Second that...I have been using the GPLC from protein factory for several month now. I mix it in pre workout with vitargo and pepto pro and the pump is consistently phenomenal .

I'm wondering why you choose Vitargo instead of maybe Rilose? Now that the Flux is gone, I will need a replacement.

Vitargo is faster. Remember that Vitargo is the "real" waxy maize, what the stomach emptying study is actually based upon. However, rilose and HRS also really good carbs. I would mix the two instead of using rilose alone if you use more than 30% carbs, rilose is pretty sweet.

Thanks for the info. I use a scoop of the flux right now (40g) with 30g of Bio-Fresh for post WO. Although the numbers for Rilose are very different, I will figure it out.

I'd do something like have a 50/50 mix of the two and then add a scoop to the biofresh.

It's not that rilose is bad, I have just been getting good results with vitargo and hydrolyzed proteins around my workout. If something works, I like to stick with it.

The one thing I will say about vitargo, is it is thick and syrupy when you use two scoops of it, it has a consistency that is different from any other carb. Plus, you cannot taste even the harshest hydrolyzed protein when you mix the two. It does a phenomenal job of masking the taste of even the most bitter casein.

Another thing is I always find it on sale at Got No Clue (GNC) down the street from my gym. I got two tubs the other day for 36 bucks, and for vitargo that is really inexpensive.

One other thing, vitargo is not that sweet. I can handle bitterness but really sweet drinks make me want to vomit and I push myself to vomit close enough on a heavy leg day without the added influence of a sweet intra workout drink

Thanks! I'm not big on sweet either and I have heard that from other peeps on the Rilose. I love the Flux, but maybe I will try Vitargo.
