Rice Oligodextrin vs OatMuscle

Hi Alex,

Please explain the differences between these two... Rice Oligodextrin vs OatMuscle.

Glycemic Index or Load.

Taste.

Carb or Calories per equal servings.

Anything else worth mentioning?

Both have zero sugar. I would say both have a GI of less than 20. I consider oatmuscle the greatest new product in 2007. the taste is out of this world. Its the perfect carb. Check the picture section for a new instant version I am coming out with in about 2 months

rice olgi is good to use if you have a weak stomach or if you want something if you are an athlete.

I really dont have any reason to recommend rice of oat for a carb source.

I know this is an older thread, but I've used both products and I'd like to comment for anyone who may be interested. The Oat Muscle simply blows away the rice product as far as taste. And I used it unflavored, just sweetened with Splenda. As far as a nutritional comparison, the OM has a few less carbs, a little more protein and fiber.

whats up osiris? thinking of ordering oatmuscle and i appreciate your input. what amount of oatmuscle per shake are you using. also r u using pre and post..djones

I use one scoop of OM with two scoops of my pre workout protein about an hour before I workout. I LOVE the flavor of the OM all by itself, even unsweetened it has a natural sweetness, it just rocks. And it gives me plenty of energy for my workouts. POST workout I use HRS, which is a different animal all together. I seriously can't recommend the Oat Muscle enough though. I have three formulas that I use, Pre/Post and another as a meal replacement, for the MRP I use OM as the carb source already mixed in. I love the stuff.
