Excess Protein: Excreted or Stored?

One more thing. Protein quality is everything. That is why we have the BV rating. It tells us just how "good" a protein is. Not to pick on Mancini again (sorry) but saying the body can only digest 8 grams of protein at once really doesnt make sense because every protein source has a different BV. For example, if I fed someone 50 grams of protein in the form of tpea protein and 50 grams of protein in the form of Peptopro you can be sure the peptopro is going to be utilized much more than the pea protein. (even though pea protein looks good on paper, it doesnt mean the body can get nitrogen or amino acids out of the protein)

So the question is this ...If someone drank 30 grams of Peptpro and 30 grams of egg protein which one will the body get a higher nitrogen retention out of. I theorize the PeptoPro because of its low MW. So you see Fit42, it is very hard to tell if protein you take in is used for nitrogen, converted to bodyfat, or expelled from the body.

My theory is that the higher the quality of protein, the more nitrogen retention you will get out of it. And my theory is backed up by the BV rating system. (even though hydrolyzed proteins are hard to find the BV)
