I'm confused about something. I read somewhere that protein consumed in excess of what the body can use is excreted in urine and therefore is not converted to bodyfat. But how can that be? I would think that if you ingest 80 grams of protein in one sitting, and your body simply cant utilize all of it, that it would store some of it as body fat (by converting it to glucose and then storing it as fatty acids). So which is it? Anybody know?
