Hydrolyzed Protein Run down

i know the question has been asked but please explain it one last time.
PF offers 5 hydrolyzed protein -

Hydrolyzed 1400
Hydrolyzed 520
HydrolyzedCaseinate 1300
Hydrolyzed Ion Exchange Whey
PeptoPro

I know that hydro 1300 n peptopro are both predigested caseinate n hydro ion exchange is what the name states. but what about 1400 n 520? are they both predigested whey con/iso?

520 is hydrolyzed whey concentrate
1400 is hydrolyzed whey isolate

I have been wondering the same thing. Another question.

If the 1400 is isolate and 520 is whey concentrate, then why are they the same cost? I've only mostly heard of the 520, and that is the only type of hydrolyzed protein I have taken.

520 is further hydrolyzed than 1400. The numbers are their molecular weight in daltons, meaning that the average molecular weight of 520 is almost 1/3 that of 1400. 520 is a pure performance protein, but is uninstantized, contains lactose, and tastes just plain fowl. On the other hand, 1400 tastes better, is instantized, and contains no lactose, but it simply isn't as fast absorbing as 520.

Interesting how there are pros and cons to both.. No wonder people just point towards pepto pro. I can't really $$ that, but I'm sure it is excellent.

i cant really say because i was introduced to PF i think 3 years back, by a bodybuilding roommate of mine, n thats actually when i started to work out.

i have tried brand name proteins, like gnc, biochem n whey to go but cant say ive supplement off them, only tried. i like the results im seeing so i would say yeah, PF got some rocking proteins.

Apparantly peptopro is a hydrolyzed casienate. Sorta like the 1300, except, minus 1000. So, no lactose, and a different amino acid profile, too.

You got it Shazam ... Alex has both a Chevrolet (Caseinate 1300) and Cadillac (peptopro) version of his hydrolyzed caseinate's.

He accomplished the same thing with his hydrolyzed whey protein isolates (Chevy - hydrolyzed 1400, Cadillac - hydrolyzed whey protein isolate ... at least it's priced like the peptides are smaller).

At the moment, he only stocks a Cadillac version of a Whey protein concentrate (hydrolyzed 520).
