I have been spending a fair amount of time researching proteins to try to decide what would be best for me. I am coming off a bulk cycle doing Starting Strength and now want to continue while trying to cut. I'm hoping to maintain/grow my strength as much as I can while I drop a fair amount of weight. I've decided to do this while in ketosis.
Anyways, I am looking for two blends that I can use (1) during the day, about every two hours and (2) before bed, maybe with a scoop of cottage cheese. I mostly mix with water.
This is what I am using now:
Custom Formula - Night:
40% Aussie Caseinate,
10% Super Plasma Protein,
45% Bio-Fresh Whey Isolate,
5% Tonalin CLA Powder,
Additive: Carbogen
Flavor: Vanilla
Sweetener: Splenda
Custom Formula - Weight Loss:
10% Hydrolyzed 520,
10% Super Plasma Protein,
75% Bio-Fresh Whey Isolate,
5% Tonalin CLA Powder,
Additive: Carbogen
Flavor: Vanilla
Sweetener: Splenda
For my next batch, I am thinking of adding some OmegaMuscle for the Omega3's and switching to IPI for the night formula instead of Aussie, which "Michelle" tells me tastes bad over 40%. Maybe something like this:
Night:
80% IPI
10% Plasma
5% OmegaMuscle
5% CLA
Carbogen
Day:
60% BioFresh
10% 520
10% 1300
10% Plasma
5% OmegaMuscle
5% Tonalin
Carbogen
Any suggestions on this formulation? How is the flavor of the OmegaMuscle? Has anyone asked/been successfull at getting a protein sampler pack?
