Ajinomoto BCAA

What is the calorie profile of this?

No one knows?

Assuming PF is simply repackaging bulk Ajinomoto's AjiPure IBCAA powder (i.e. not adding anything), this is the supplement information:

No caloric value is listed, and it contains no carbs. Obviously in a starvation state the amino acids could be catabolized for energy, so they intrinsically have a caloric value, but in a nourished state that shouldn't happen to the AAs.

If they are catabolized as energy, then 5g of AAs would probably be roughly 20 calories (just like protein).

Yeah, it's pretty minimal, which is probably another reason that they don't list it on the label.

4 calories per gram of powder approximately. Yes we use the IBCAA from Ajinomoto

I take these with creapure and pepto pro post workout, but would it be better to get the BCAA's in you DURING the workout instead of after? Thanks.

Okay thanks. I am currently cutting. My workout supplements involve

90mins before workout- Real meal
20mins before workout - 2g of Beta-Alanine
IntraWorkout 20g of BCAA + 10g of Glutamine+ stevia (I almost puked without stevia)
After workout- 2g of beta alanine + Real Meal

I plan on cycling creatine with this. Also I have read mixed reviews about glutamine and I plan on dropping it. What do you suggest to add or remove? I don't think I need to add something like pertopro as I am eating real meal and have BCAA in the mix.
