Changes to forum

What are the new changes to the forum?

new look, cool graphics, more organized, new features and stuff like that. we will probably be asking what you like and dislike and what you want to see on this forum.

Alex asked me to help juice up the forums a little, to make them a more comfortable place to hang around so members will want to spend more time and get to know each other.

I've been working on forums for many years now, so part of what I'll be doing is bringing in some new features, too, like Avatars that people can use to dress up their profiles. And other fun things.

If you have any ideas of things we should add, please SPEAK UP

I'll be sure to let people know what I'm doing so they have a chance to try it out.

One of my ideas is to reduce the number of sections that appear on the front page -- I think if there were fewer, it would be easier for people to find interesting threads. Does anyone have an opinion on that?

i actually think having many sections allows people to fine tune their searches based on content.

Maybe a staff forum? But that might not be needed at this point. When there is a forum issue I usually post it in the truth.

Mods such as myself have been having trouble banning people who send out mass spam messages.

I like the idea of having a real avatar.

Have to agree that the Mods need a little more power. If we abuse it, we lose plan and simple.

I would like to see a recipe section that will allow members to add protein shake ideas, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and recipes for bars

How about a "Chat Lounge" where we can chat about anything...not just BB, Fitness Supps. etc....We have one on my other fitness board and it's great!

I think what Jen meant to ask is, can she and I have a private chat room?
