I just wanted to take a second and thank Alex for his honest and open business model. I just finished reading his detailed information on micellar casein and I was happy to find two things:

  1. The micellar casein sold here is the real deal. As he rightly points out:
Proteinfactory.com’s research and development team, headed by yours truly, obtained tests done on the membrane Micellar and found it to have a native Casein to whey protein ratio of 90:10. Which is excellent.! All Micellar Caseins will have some amount of whey fractions in it. The whey fractions are called beta lacto globulin and alpha lactalbumin. The objective is to get this ratio as far apart as possible. Another reason we do tests is because a lot of supplement companies will try to sell you milk protein isolate and “pan it off” as Micellar Casein. And the only way to know if you have been “duped” is to run tests.
I've checked out several places that sell "micellar casein" and it turns out to be milk protein isolate. Now there's nothing wrong with a good MPI, but it ain't micellar casein!

  2. He takes the time to explain the manufacturing process. Many times when you ask the place selling it, they don't have a clue about how the product is manufactured. It is important to understand the manufacturing process for all of the dairy proteins and it is great that Alex shares this.
