Was happy to wake up today and see my box from Protein Factory on my doorstep this afternoon; so I tore into it quick and made my new 65%CFM Whey / 35% Membrane Micellar Casein mix my quickie breakfast.

This is my first order with PF and so far I'm pleased. My order came about a day faster from PF on the east coast than I have experienced with PF competitors on the west coast; and everything was well packaged.

I was a little distressed at first when I opened the container, as it smelled exactly like the artificial strawberry flavored proteins I've tried elsewhere and come to really dislike. I was thinking they screwed up and didn't read the customer comment notes where I was told to specify that I wanted 'real' strawberry flavoring. After mixing up a 50g serving in about 12oz water though, I think I got the right stuff. You could see little flecks of red in the mixture before it completely dissolved; which I believe were the ground up bits of strawberry that Alex told me made his real strawberry different. This CFM/micellar mix also mixed VERY easily...I'm sure I could have had complete suspension in 1/3 the water...it was so thin at 12oz. There was some foaming after a few shakes in the blender bottle; but letting it settle for a minute took care of most of that. The taste is less intensely sweet and artificial than other strawberry flavored proteins I've had; but still there is an element of the artificial mixed in with this real strawberry flavoring....still MUCH more palatable to me than others I've tried.

As I said, this is my first taste...I'll play around with the amount of water used and if I have any further observations about this product, I'll post it back in this thread.
