What is the best protein or combination of proteins to take at night before bed?

i'd go with the aussie casein and maybe add some flax oil to slow digestion even further

Last one I made was:

30% Membrane Micellar Casein
60% IPI - helps with the taste of the MMC and is my favorite non-whey isolate protein at PF
10% EFA - my favorite fat at protein factory.

Was thinking of substituting the Aussie for the MMC next time, just because I have never tried it

The Aussie Casein is much tastier than MMC in my opinion. Definitely worth a try in substitution. I just add almond butter as opposed to EFA.

My local store just added grinders in the bulk foods aisle, so I have been grinding my own unsalted almond butter and cashew butter. I'll have to add some and give it a try

Omg, aren't those machines the greatest! I get mine at Whole Foods, best almond butter I have ever tasted!

I think the best would be banana and half liter milk before going to bed!

Tub of cottage cheese. Dry curd cottage cheese if you can get it - it's got the least amount of other garbage in there.

Also kind of depends on whether or not you worked out that day, and how much earlier than bedtime you ate, and what you ate at that time.

+1 recommendation on what GST said.

Personally, I like my cottage cheese eaten with a bit of real mayo!
