Hey all, new here so if this is the wrong forum for this feel free to point me to the right place!
I am putting together a couple of formulas, one for PWO and one for MRP. I am male, 5'7", 125lbs, pretty skinny, always have been, and have a tough time gaining weight. I was on a great program a few years back and packed on about 30lbs (went from 120lbs to 150lbs) of great muscle, but had to stop for a few years and lost most of it. My goal is to pack on as much muscle weight as possible, i'm not concerned with staying super cut I want some bulk
So enough about me, here's my thoughts, and I would love any feedback, positive or negative. For the MRP, I couldn't decide which of the awesome protein products here at PF.com to use, so I went with a good variety of high quality proteins, pretty balanced out. It ended up being about 60% protein, 20% fat, 20% carbs. For the PWO, I went with what looked like the fastest absorbing pre-digested protein and the carb that would give me the highest insulin spike, to really jam that protein into my muscles. And while we're jamming stuff into my muscles, I thought I would throw in a bit of creatine - will that slow down the digestion and/or reduce the insulin spike at all?
