Pepto Pro absorbability when mixed ...

Does anyone know if Pepto Pro's absorbability is affected if mixed with 1) sugars or starches, 2) fats or oils, 3) other protein powders? Pepto Pro is costly and I want to get the maximum results from it. Thanks.

with sugars and starches such as gatorade, or juices, it should actually increase uptake post workout. i would think fats would slow down the digestion slightly but adding it with other proteins shouldnt hurt it at all as well... hope this answers your questions...

best bet is to add it with other proteins and take it with sugars such as gatorade or dextrose...

Starches. Watch the starches though. Alot of starches are what they call "resistant" meaning the body cant absorb them. Alot of company's sell waxy maize starch, potato starch, and oat starch. All of these products can cause huuuuuge digestive problems. ie dont use any starches (Unless you feel the need to take a huuuuuuge dumpe
