Australia & New Zealand Protein Powders

Hello everyone. First time posting on this board long time following it though. I had a question about the protein powders sourced from australia and new zealand such as the membrane micellar casein and the victoria milk protein concentrate. Being that these two products are from outside the states, where Rbgh and rbst are illegal, these products should be free of any growth hormones, correct? I care not so much for what they might do towards my body, but I am more interested in the welfare of the animal. I know Australia has some of the highest standards for dairy farming and animal welfare in the world, so I just wanted to maybe get some verification from Alex as to how the animals may or may not be cared for. Also I see that membrane micellar casein is from grass fed cows, is there a whey product that could claim that to some extent? also what about the victoria milk protein, and i wrong to assume that most dairy cows in australia feed off grass to an extent anyway? thanks in advance for all your help

I do not know the legalities of rBST in Australia and New Zealand, but I do believe you are correct. What I can tell you is that the proteins I sell from these countries comes from co-ops. Meaning groups of farmers sel their dairy to the cheese manufacturers and they make the whey from the cheese. So for my Aussie casein and my victoria milk protein, these powders comes from co-op dairy farms down under and then to the cheese producers in their areas. I think its Melbourne where the factory is. The membrane micellar comes from Ireland which I know for a fact rBST is illegal.
