Hey I'm Jamaris and just wanted to show myself off a bit since this section is about member photos. So here it is!
I've been training since I was 18. My friend was dating a really cool guy who loved working out... and it showed. He was insanely defined and big, not huge, but nice big. I was so awed by that and I asked him to train me, and he did! We would go every day of the week 5 times a week and he'd train me at his friends gym. He taught me a lot and I thank him for that. Then eventually I knew I had to not only train, but get my diet in check. I didn't want to do a fad diet, which he encouraged me to do. No. I wanted a diet that would become my lifestyle. A healthy diet lifestyle. So I went online and found Don Lemmon, amazing man who taught me the ropes on a healthy diet and exercise. He past some years ago, but the man left a permanent mark on my life. Now, I live life healthy. I don't eat junk, I read labels, weigh out food, exercise 3-4 times a week, and eat every 2-3 hours 5-6 meals a day. Obviously it doesn't work out perfectly all the time (timing and what not) but I always stay away from obvious bad crap and the not so obvious bad crap. So yea, now I'm 22 and I've been eating that way ever since. Obviously I needed time to discipline myself at first, but eventually it just became second nature to me. I don't even think about it anymore, its how I live and I love it! People and friends are always so surprised at how healthy I live, even if they've known me for a while! I guess they are surprised and shocked at the will power I have. That will power came with great struggle, failures after successes and successes after failures. But with a little perseverance and positive thinking the struggle is no longer a struggle. I think people miss that point, you have to have failures in order to have success and pick yourself up and move on after those failures and never lose sight of the goal. I knew too that if I waited any longer, that eventually one day all those bad habits would catch up to me and I would most likely have done a bunch of damage on my body externally as well as internally that could make my life harder to live and less enjoyable because I'd have to worry about adverse health issues, plus the change to switch to a healthier lifestyle would be that much harder. So I started young and figured I'd get it done and over with when I was younger, when it was easier (It also helped that I got my degree in Biology haha). And here I am, blessed by God to be given that wisdom at such a young age, and without Him I would not have been able to do such a thing. I love lifting, I love eating healthy, and I love my body. I am always trying to become stronger and in better shape. Alex's products helps me do that and I thank you for that Alex!
