JT,
I want to be sure I understand your question; are you asking if using a (protein) hydrosylate will solve pre-existing gas issues, or are you asking if using a hydrosylate protein will alleviate protein poweder-associated gas issues?
If it is the former, I have never heard of protein powder being used to relieve general gas issues. If you meant the latter, most people who experience gas problems from taking protein powder do so because of the possible presence of milk sugar aka lactose. Order proteins from Alex's site that are listed beneath his "lactose free" proteins (click link below):
Protein Factory Inc. :: Proteins :: Lactose Free
As you will see, some of these proteins are hydrosylates, some aren't. Please be aware that just because a protein has been hydrolyzed, does not mean that it is lactose-free; Alex's Hydrolyzed 520 is a hydrolyzed whey protein CONCENTRATE (vice ISOLATE) and therefore DOES contain lactose.
