Entry Level Muscle Gain Mix - Anabolic Cream? Anabolic/Anti-Catabolic? Another?

I guess 6 weeks of PF Proteins have been working better than I thought because I've been asked if I'd changed my routine or what I'm taking more in the past weeks than in the last year. Anyway, one of my teammates is taking GNC Wheybolic and wanted me to reccomend a PF protein (I guess he's tired of payng $20.00/pound for an isolate blend - go figure). His goal is to add muscle. He weighs about 175- 180 with minimal bodyfat and does daily HIIT but isn't achieving muscle gain. Correct me if I'm wrong here but I'd assume he needs to add carbs and fat, as well as eliminate his caloric deficit and so I thought of Anabolic Cream or Anabolic/Anti-Catabloic as a good low cost starting point while he experiments with what works. Anabolic Cream strikes me as a more old-school high protein/high fat option; although he could add it to Gatorade to gain carbs. Anabolic/Anti-Catabolic seems like the better all around bet for him since it has Instant Oats for the HIIT and he could use it during the day as well but I'd welcome any insights.
