Coconut Oil

Alex, while on/off PF site, I came across a post wherein someone was requesting info about coconut oil . . . specifically why it's good for you, etc. . . didn't have time to respond last pm & I CAN'T FIND IT TONITE. . . maybe you can appropriately post this reply; THANXin order to keep my resp short, sweet & simple, I thought I'd recommend a few good websites: coconutoil.com; mnwelldir.org/docs/nutrition/coconut.htm; mercola.com/2003/oct/15/cooking_oil.htm; tropicaltraditions.com/virgin_coconut_oil.htm (esp see "research" on TT's site). . .they have great products & are offering some great sales right now. . .in resp to query about what Erasmus says RE: coconut oil, "The medium chain triglycerides in coconut oil are used directly by the cells as an energy source."
