The serving size is only a recommendation, not something set in stone. Thus when you make your serving size in the lab its really doesnt matter. It is the formula that matter.
For example you make this formula
50% maltodextrin and 50% CFM
and then you select serving size of 50 grams
You will get 25 Carbs and 25 protein (rounded up)
the next guy can come along and make the same formula but then select 100 grams for his serving size. He will get 50 carbs and 50 protein.
As you can see the %'s never change.
When we send out nutritional facts for powders they default to a 1/3 cup serving size which holds app. 30 grams of powder. Thus this formula will yield 15 carbs and 15 protein.
70 cc = 1/3 cup app.= 30 grams
1/4 cup = 20 grams
