p90x?!

My friend just gave me a copy of p90x and was wondering if anyone here has tryed it. i've done some research and it uses muscle confusion to build muscle. sounds genius.
i think i might start.

i dont think it is genius. muscle confusion is the same as switching up your routine once in a while. while watching the infomercials.... i think most people get those results because they follow the strict guidelines and mainly because they are beginners. i think people who just start working out, the results curve is a lot steeper for beginners then results gradually slow down... i think you can achieve those goals as long as you follow a strict diet...the infomercials focus all on training but do not really talk about the dedication and diet they have to get those results...but if u are getting it for free...try it out. it should be good, u might hit muscles you dont normally hit with weights or traditional exercises.

yea i planned on lifting weights still but using p90x for cardio and flexibility for football and wrestling seasons

I have P90 X and although it isn't the best program I think it is good. I get some crazy pumps from it and have put on quite a bit of strenght in the past from it. I like some of the unique exercises they use especially on the Chest routines. We use to do some of those unique versions of pushups in the Marine Corps. Course we would do them till sweat was running down our arms and the fine San Diego sand was sticking to us and the sand fleas were eating us.....but it was still fun

Ninjaalbert hit it on the head with this statement ... ANYONE that is willing to follow a strict, sub-maintenance calorie diet and do high intensity weights and cardio will lose weight.
